If you are looking for a durable, resistant and striking material to use as a surface for your bath or kitchen, Caesarstone quartz composite countertops make a nice alternative to granite or other natural stone surfaces that often require more laborious ongoing care & maintenance. Caesarstone, manufactured in Spain, use a quartz base to engineer a highly resistant material that is also anti-bacterial, an obvious hygienic advantage for both bath & kitchen use.

The surface is scratch, stain, heat and crack resistant and is resistant to most common household chemicals. The material is sealed, so there is no need to wax or seal once the surface has been installed making for very easy ongoing care. The company recommends a mixture of water and dish soap for cleaning spills.

For our particular project here in Ixtapa, we are using Caesarstone’s Ruby Reflections from the Classico collection. This surface will make a striking contrast to the oak cabinetry and stainless steel fixtures that have been recently installed.
